Our heavier-weight 315 GSM duck canvas, for when you want your embroidery fabric to have a little more substance.

This is noticeably thicker and sturdier than the 200 GSM options, with more body and structure. It holds its shape beautifully, making it a great choice for embroidery projects where you want the fabric itself to feel durable and substantial.

What it feels like to embroider on: Firm, sturdy and satisfying to stitch on — but definitely more substantial. You’ll feel a little more resistance from the fabric compared to the 200 GSM options, especially with dense or heavily stitched embroidery.

Best for: Structured embroidery hoops, bold embroidery, dense designs, lettering, bags, utility projects and other projects where you want a sturdy canvas fabric for hand embroidery.

A little heads-up: If you’re new to hand embroidery, we’d recommend starting with the 200 GSM options before moving on to this one. Your fingers will have fewer opinions about it.
